Users engaging in submissions, peer review, editorial activities, or conference participation must adhere to the highest standards of academic and professional ethics. Plagiarism, duplicate submissions, falsification of data, or unethical review practices are not permitted.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
All content uploaded by users remains their intellectual property. However, by submitting content to GAFTIM, users grant GAFTIM a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, and display such content for academic and operational purposes.
6. Publication & Conference Workflow
Submission to GAFTIM-managed journals or conferences does not guarantee acceptance. All submissions are subject to peer review, editorial decision-making, and publisher requirements (e.g., Springer, IEEE, Emerald), where applicable.
7. Data Protection & Privacy
GAFTIM is committed to protecting user data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Personal data will be used strictly for platform operations, communication, and academic processes.
8. Communication & Notifications
By using GAFTIM services, you consent to receive essential communications related to submissions, reviews, payments, certificates, and platform updates. Promotional communications are optional and subject to user preference.
9. Account Suspension or Termination
GAFTIM reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts that violate these Terms, compromise platform integrity, or breach ethical or legal standards.
10. Limitation of Liability
GAFTIM shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the platform.
11. Amendments to Terms
GAFTIM reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates, unless otherwise stated.
